Stay cool. That was the motto of the day. The heat has been a challenge to work in, but every time I show up to a wedding dreading the heat, our amazing clients quickly make me completely forget about the temperature. Lauren & Lee beat the heat with fans, umbrellas and a Coleman cooler full of PBR… Nice touch on the cooler guys ;) The wedding was in the always magical Hubbard Park up in Shorewood. That place captures some amazing light.
Moving to a new state is generally a ton of work. Gotta find a place to live, a place to work, people to hang out with… It can be a challenge. Lindy and Colin decided that all of that was not enough, and that they would like to throw a wedding into the mix before they ship off.
So… I used to eat lunch with Emily back in high school… Chicken nuggets, really bad pizza, soy burgers, nachos, granola bars… you know all the good “healthy” school lunch types of things. Fast forward a bunch of years… I get a note from her asking if I would be interested in shooting her wedding! Heck YES! Are you nuts! I love photographing weddings and the only thing that makes it better is when you know the people you are working with.
Nothing like some tents, a hot day, and a blue sky that goes on for days! Sam and Scott had the perfect day to get hitched and did just that!
