Personal Work
Cabo San Lucas

My wife and I had a chance to leave the cold of Wisconsin this past winter to visit the lovely Cabo San Lucas. It is the first time I have been to that side of Mexico, and damn is it beautiful. From the photos, you will notice I fell in love with the topography and the empty beaches. The rock formations and mountains gave this area so much character.
The beaches were empty, mostly because the water in the area was un-swimmable, and there were so many resorts on the beach that everyone was probably just drunk by the pool anyways… I didn’t mind so much though, it was very peaceful for a morning and evening walk each night. My camera and I enjoyed it very much. There was the occasional walker and horse tour that crossed my path, as well as a lot of local people trying to sell over priced silver jewelry, hats and scarves. These made for some good human subjects in minimal spaces…
Here are some of my favorites from the trip:

Loving these photos. They convey such a strong mood; wintery even though it’s Mexico. I especially enjoy the horses shot and the one with what I think is a para-sailer in the sky and the one with the two people in the sand. awesome!
